Dai Hayward talking to potential customers at the India Pharma exhibition in Bangalore
"India represents an important and growing market for Micropore" says Dai Hayward of Micropore Technologies. "At India Pharma Expo 2018, we once again received a warm welcome from the pharmaceutical and agrochemical industries in the region with particular interest in our new high throughput AXF-1 crossflow membrane emulsification unit. The manufacturers I talked to were surprised and delighted that Micropore has finally been able to upscale membrane emulsification up to a serious 1,500 tonnes/year industrial scale capability". Dai Hayward, CEO of Micropore reported a successful trip to the India Pharma Expo in Bangalore, India during February. Micropore were part of a UK Department for International Trade and NEPIC (North East Process Industry Cluster) Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals trade delegation to this key global exhibition covering the whole process of pharmaceutical manufacturing, from processing machineries to lab equipment. Dai added that, in addition to the positive feedback on Micropore's product range, it was all the more pleasing to be able to return home from this third annual visit to India with the promise of some firm orders.
